In servo motors,robot joints and precise position control,magnetic encoders are responsible for converting the angle of rotating shaft into usable electrical signals.MPS MA600A is a precision high-bandwidth absolute value magnetic angle sensor that is often mentioned.It detects the angular position of a magnetized cylindrical magnet in the diameter direction,and adopts the integrated tunnel reluctance(TMR)scheme internally,giving consideration to high bandwidth and angular accuracy(INL),so it is often used in position control and robot systems.

 

MDT TMR3111D can replace MPS MA600A magnetic encoder.MDT TMR3111D is a non-contact magnetic encoder chip of MDT,which is compatible with on-axis and off-axis installation,with small package and suitable for high-speed and high-precision scenes.When working,the chip senses the change of magnetic field caused by the rotation of the magnet above,and calculates the rotation angle after collecting the signal.TMR sensor and 23-bit resolution signal processing ASIC are integrated internally,and the configuration of working parameters is rich.SPI,ABZ,PWM and other output interfaces are given to facilitate the connection with different controllers.

According to the parameters,TMR3111D has a power supply of 3V~5V and a typical working current of 10mA,which supports 0~360 absolute position detection.The number of ABZ lines can be programmed between 1 and 4,096 lines,the angular output delay is less than 2μs,the absolute accuracy is better than 0.05,and the maximum rotation speed can reach 40,000 RPM.The magnetic encoder chip is also equipped with fast self-calibration and EEPROM,which can be erased more than 1000 times and conforms to RoHS and REACH.These indexes are friendly to the application of magnetic encoder which needs fast response and stable angle feedback.
